"Rectangular Coffee Table In Glass And Brass, Maison Jansen - 1940"
This rectangular coffee table from the 1940s from the French Maison Jansen is characterized by its double top. The first consists of a transparent glass and the second of a spacer shelf with églomisé black mirror. The latter has an aerial frame set with brass flowers. This piece of furniture rests on four column legs in brushed steel, crowned with pine cones and finished in a spindle. These fine signature details of the House make this neo-classical table a refined piece. Maison Jansen, founded in 1880 in Paris, specializes in interior decoration. Combining new trends and Anglo-Japanese style, she pays particular attention to the historical details of her pieces and to the expectations of her clients in the creation of their spaces.*******
