Very beautiful pastel portrait signed Gaston Albert Lavrillier and dated 1945 and presented framed in a Montparnasse frame. Charles Albert Lavrillier born in Paris in 1890 also died in Paris in 1969. Prix de Rome for engraving of medals in 1919, School of Fine Arts in Paris. Worked in the workshops of Fréderic Vernon, Auguste Patey, Léopold Flameng and by Jean-Antoine Injealbert. In 1924 he made the sets for the film "Surcouf" by Luitz Morat. He moved to Los Angeles in the 1930s, they produced bouquets of flowers, still lifes and worldly portraits (Portrait of Countess Roger Walewski in 1947)
