"Ancient 18th Century Cane Knob In Corozo"
Rare men's walking cane first half of the eighteenth century representing a pommel corozo surrounded by a beautiful engraved silver ring and chisel below the ring two very large silver eyecups for the passage of the strap. At the top of the pommel a silver pellet with a PM monogram. The barrel of Malacca blond perfectly rectilinear. Long brass ferrule ending in a steel heel, length 107 mm. Diameter of knob 36,48 mm, diameter of the ring to receive the barrel 28,32 mm. Total length of the rod 940 mm. General condition very good only to report two small slits in the corozo nut, see photos. Origin of this German cane or in the Baltic region
