Boulle type console clock, early 18th century, it rests on 4 feet that can be hung, with a sumptuous cello-shaped wooden cabinet, glazed on three sides, covered with tortoiseshell marquetry and brass sheet cut with floral motifs; edges and corners decorated with gilded bronzes with a vegetal flagellum motif, rockery and female hermes; on the glass door - an openwork inlay with the sea goddess - Amphitrite in a chariot made of shells, pulled by dolphins, a high hipped roof surmounted by a figure of Iris? Behind the glass of the door is a bronze shield with cobalt Roman numerals on enamelled plaques; in the center of the dial an enamelled badge with the inscription: Regnault a Paris ”; in wood, back door inside decorated with an openwork brass leaf cut out with a pattern of vegetable scrolls, checkerboard decoration of the furniture floor; the movement beats the hours and half-hours, engraved in the same way as on the dial.
