Box in thuja burl and rosewood marquetry with gilded brass threads. On the lid, decoration of a cartouche inlaid with gilded brass, mother-of-pearl and rosewood threads, underlined around the edge of a frieze of chiseled openwork brass between two rosewood threads. Interior padded with blue silk. Damaged fabric at the edge of the lock, visible on photo. Varnish damaged on the back of the box. The cover and the other three sides are in very good condition, and the lock works. Dimensions, 20x20x7 cm.
