Circa 1785 France Elegant ceremonial waistcoat with basques wholesale from Tours cream embroidered with silver thread and polychrome silk dating from the Louis XVI period. Embroidery available with a design of tricolor ribbons on the edge dotted with leafy stems, seagrass and small pineapples (?). Crew-neck cut without a collar with small loose peplums and two crenellated flap pockets. Original back in ecru wool and cotton fleece. Cream cotton lining (small stains). Complete with its eleven matching buttons and buttonholes. Three spots the size of a needle's head, no halos under the arms. Stable and fresh silk.
