Robert Louis NICOÏDSKI 1931-1996 Nude with a purple chair Oil on canvas 101 x 71 cm signed lower right Robert NICOÏDSKI was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds (Switzerland), on December 5, 1931 and died in Paris on October 23, 1996 He is passionate about painting, his works proclaim his passionate love for an art which is as essential to him as breathing. He could have been one of the major figures of the French scene of the 60s and 70s. He exhibited in various galleries both in Europe and in the United States: Club 44 in La Chaux-de-Fonds, the art museum of the same city, the Rath Museum and the Athénée Museum in Geneva, the National Library in Paris.
