Large Copper Jug - South Of France (?), 18th Century

Large baluster-shaped copper JUG with a frustoconical neck and long curved outlet, fitted with a removable lid held in place by a brass chain and a thick dangling twisted wrought iron handle. The throat and the foot are wound on an iron stiffener and the assemblies are said to be “wolf-toothed”.
Height: 43cm.

Very good condition, with a beautiful natural and uniform dark patina
