Empire Period Clock / Restoration “to The Gladiator”. In Gilt Bronze.

Important antique clock, in gilded and chiseled bronze representing a gladiator with his sword and his shield. The blued steel dial, with Roman numerals, is surrounded by a snake. Original mercury gilding, in good condition despite some contact wear on the upper part. From the early 19th century, around 1820, this clock is from the restoration period but still has many marks of the empire by the antique subject, laurel wreaths and palmettes. Completely cleaned and overhauled by our watchmaker, it is in perfect working order. Delivery possible, please contact us.
