18th Century Regency Box, Red Varnish And Sinisant Gold.

Beautiful so-called “pin” box with Chinese decor from the 18th century of the Regency Louis XV period, used to place and or to stick in wig and hairdressing pins for women or men.
Box in good condition decorated with red varnish enhanced with gilded Asian foliage motifs forming entourages of distributed subjects: character, house, bird, horse, trees.
The interior is clean brown aventurine lacquer.
The bronzes on the back and on the front are original in cleaned brass.
The lock is an original push button in good condition as well.
