Set Of Four Pewter Plates - Lyon, 18th Century sold

Object description :

"Set Of Four Pewter Plates - Lyon, 18th Century"
Rare set of four identical Pewter PLATES with round molded edges.
Hallmark incompletely affixed on all: Moor's head /---R/ MORAND /---/.
Diameter: 24.2cm.
LYON, Second half of the 18th century

None of the four hallmarks can be fully read and their complementarity of reading is not favourable. However, it is very probably one of the MORANT's famous family of pewter potters from Lyon.
