"Halluin Tapestry "
Imposing reproduction of a tapestry after a suite drawn by William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones then woven in the workshops of Morris & Company (1890-1895). Considered a major work of decorative art of the late Victorian era, these tapestries illustrate the Quest for the Holy Grail. After handing them their shields and armor, the Ladies of Camelot bid farewell to the Knights of the Round Table. This is a HALLUIN tapestry woven in French Flanders at LOISELLES stitch, late 20th century. Very good state. Dimensions: 180 cm x 280 cm.
