Beautiful cabinet in ebony veneer, inlaid with bone fillets, ivory plates, and hard stone cartridges (including lapis lazuli). It opens with a descending flap and an upright, both closed by a central lock. The plaques decorating the drawers represent scenes of cherubim, putti and angels in funny or religious scenes. The door of the theater features an Ottoman ruler receiving the allegiance of a warrior in armor. Arrangement of 3 drawers and compartments in the upper part; 4 drawers in the interior theater. Beautiful ornamentation of hard stones in round and oval cartouches. Northern Italy? 17th c.
