hanging from a belt chatelaine, this luxury embroidery spool holder, could carry 4 or 5 small colored spools on the 7cm axis, allowing ladies of the Court to be more mobile, to better listen to the conversations on both sides, while having the air absorbed by his work of lady ... Very beautiful object, the framing is  pomponne (or Mannheim gold ) and has kept its shiny gilding, and the object is in good condition.
