Circular electroplating dish representing the Greek Pantheon, on the beam of a central lyre motif surrounded by two winged cherubs. very fine work (this method generally gives coarser achievements) from the late 19C. Electroplating is a technique of shaping a metal object by electrolytic deposition of this pure metal forming a more or less thick layer.
