Sarreguemines Earthenware Toilet Set, Oriental Pattern, 19th Century
Antique wash set comprising a pitcher and basin in Sarreguemines earthenware, Oriental pattern, decorated in red with floral and geometric motifs.
The decoration is elegant and refined, typical of Sarreguemines production from the late 19th/early 20th century. The earthenware also features a relief decoration imitating basketry on the lower part of the pitcher and basin, adding considerable charm to the set. A beautiful decorative set suitable for use in a bathroom, as a decorative piece, or on a chest of drawers. Late 19th - early 20th century. Good overall condition, slight signs of wear.
