"Vase - Porcelain - China - Guangxu (1875–1908)"
This magnificent Nanking Vase is distinguished by its classic baluster shape and flared neck. Its ceramic features a finely crackled, creamy-white glaze, giving it an antique texture. The decoration is enriched by dark-colored relief appliqués and handles in the form of animal heads, in a highly ornate style. A central band of pale blue glaze contrasts sharply with the crackled surface. A seal-like reign mark on the base suggests a Qing dynasty date.
