"Second Half Of The 17th Century Painted Chest"
Elegant andunique chest made of solid chestnut wood, painted in tempera in shades of red,green, yellow, and black. The chest is rectangular in shape, with bracketedfeet and a protruding top. Its spacious interior also features a smalladditional shelf. The chest is decorated on the front and sides with geometricmotifs and coats of arms attributable to a family from the Marche region,featuring three figurative heads in profile. This is a unique piece, capable offurnishing any space with a touch of antiquity and class. Made in the Marcheregion (central Italy), during the Louis XIV period, in the second half of the17th century.
