David Teniers II,
known as the Younger, born in Antwerp on December 15, 1610, and died in Brussels on April 25, 1690 (aged 79), was a Flemish painter, son of David Teniers the Elder and Dymphna de Wilde.
Stepson of Jan Brueghel the Elder, known as Velvet Brueghel, whose daughter Anne he married firstly, he was the father of the painter David Teniers III.
He remarried in 1656 to Isabelle de Fren, with whom he had four children. He is the nephew of Juliaen Teniers.
