"Large Longwy Enamel Dish, Decorated With Birds And Blackberries, Circa 1950-1955"
Large circular dish in Longwy cloisonné enamel, hand-decorated. The polychrome composition depicts two birds perched on a bramble branch laden with blackberries, surrounded by large foliage in autumnal colors. The ivory background with its characteristic crackle pattern highlights the liveliness of the enamels, highlighted by a deep blue line on the rim. On the reverse, stamp "Emaux de Longwy - Décoré à la main - France", used between 1950 and 1955. Numbered.
