Charming Child Mannequin from the Napoleon III period.
This is a small rarity made of carton bouilli, wood and fabric dating from the second half of the 19th century and designed for a shop window or for a sewing workshop.
This type of child mannequin remains quite rare to find on the market.
Carton bouilli body lined with fabric, carved wooden legs, note the paint work on the socks and small shoes.
The carved wooden grip above the neck is also original, in fact everything is entirely original.
