Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, born Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse, was a 19th-century French sculptor. He was born on June 12, 1824 in Anizy-le-Château and died on June 4, 1887 in Sèvres. He was one of the most prolific and versatile sculptors of his time. Magnificent white marble statue representing a woman standing with a cat. Very good condition, height 87 cm.
