"Silver-plated Tea Fountain, Risler & Carré, Late 19th-early 20th Century"
Very beautiful Louis XV style silver-plated samovar with tripod base, decorated with ribbon knots linked together by laurel garlands. One of the knots surrounds a number, composed of the initials RS. The tap, decorated with acanthus leaves, is topped with a shell-shaped wooden knob. The lid has a pine cone-shaped handle.
Signed “A.RISLER & CARRE” under the belly. The goldsmiths Risler and Carré produced silver and silver-plated art objects and jewelry between 1897 and 1912.
Good general condition.
