Triangular in shape, the molded base rests on spinning top feet and receives a beautiful bronze ornamentation decorated with scrapers, garlands, scrolls and falling foliage and flowers and in the center, a bas-relief frieze of cupids hunting the wild boar.
The enameled dial repeats this floral decoration. At the damping, a figure of Venus holds in her hand a dove that a winged cupid tries to steal from her.
The period movement, with wire, strikes the hours and half-hours.
