"Large Carved Wooden Christ – Late 17th Century "

Polychromed and chiseled, head bowed, perizonium held by a cord and feet superimposed, our Christ is finely represented.
The wooden Cross is also particularly interesting because it is covered in silk embroidered with copper threads in stylized interlacing.

This is a Spanish work from the end of the 17th century which is just waiting for a chapel to watch over it. Condition of use: some losses - original patina and holes from the flight of wood-eating insects.
