Firefighter helmet of the city of Fay Mle 1855, modified 1872 (disappearance of the Eagle of the Second Empire). Helmet entirely in brass, with crest, chinstraps and rosettes, interior present. Front plate in stamped brass with grenade motif surrounded by axes and rays, banner inscribed "Sapeurs Pompiers de Fay". Plumet in scarlet feathers. Good general condition, with wear and some minor shocks, Visible on the photos. France III republic.
