Bonheur-du-jour, 18th century lady's desk, serving both as a writing desk and as a storage unit for papers and precious objects, evoking the habits and pleasures of times gone by. Our delightful little Bonheur du Jour from the Louis Philippe period, between 1830 and 1848, in mahogany and mahogany veneer, opens on the front with four drawers and on the belt with a drawer revealing a sliding desk pad trimmed with leather and two inkwells. Its four feet are Umbrella.
Very good general condition of the furniture, there are some very fine lacks that are barely visible without looking in detail.
