The painter invites us to admire the beauty of St. Mark's Square, its unique architecture. Stefano NOVO is enrolled at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice where he studied under the direction of Pompeo Molmenti. He began working in various churches in the Venetian regions and Padua, producing numerous frescoes.
Easel painting will take over, he is fond of very lively and colorful street scenes. He became known at the Turin Exhibition of 1884, then participated in other exhibitions in Florence, Bologna, Milan, Palermo and Venice, where he will be present at the National Exhibition of 1887.
His fame spread to the United States and England where he will exhibit in Chicago, London and Glasgow.
