Rare Pair of Carved Swan Neck Armchairs Circa 1820.

They are all the more interesting as the cabinetmaker made a sculpture of the male swan and the female swan with some small differences in sculpture.
The legs are sabre-shaped at the back and the legs at the front end with stylized lotus flowers.
Solid and comfortable, they have been covered in the old style with a modern almond green linen fabric with double piping as braid.
They have been completely overhauled and are in excellent condition.
Pegged and reupholstered in the old style.
The blond mahogany is not flashy with just a patina of waxed varnish finish.
