"Georges Jacob Bedside Table "
Very rare late 18th century empire period mahogany bedside table with detached columns decorated with bronze on the front opening with a door at the back. Stamped G.JACOB. Georges JACOB born in CHENY on July 6, 1739 and died in PARIS on July 5, 1814. Received Master in 1765 is the most famous and also the most profilic of the 18th century French seat carpenters. This piece of furniture was probably made between 1765 and 1796. The gray marble (reported) Dimension width 38 cm with marble height 75 cm
