Salvador Dali / Gala Dali - Signed Book With Drawing

Small felt-tip drawing of a crown surmounting his signature, made by Salvador DALI on the frontispiece of the book "Dali by Dali", DRAEGER publisher, dated 1971.
Gala DALI, for her part, added her signature inside the book, on her left hand while she is represented naked caressing a swan

We very rarely find the 2 signatures together of DALI and Gala, the latter having few autographs !
The other signatures and texts written on the frontispiece are those of people present during this festive evening such as the guitarist Rudolf WANGLER, friend of DALI ("with love, Rudolf and Irène Wangler")
A signature is followed by the words "Cadaquès, le 29 -4-71" which allows us to know the place and date of this evening (take care : the writing at the top left "In Nancy, October 27, 1970" has nothing to do with the signatures collected and had must have been prepared the previous year on another occasion but the book had not been used then)

*** It is perfectly possible to detach the double-pages containing the signatures of DALI and Gala to have them framed at your convenience (2 double-pages or the DALI page alone for example)

Provenance : Gift by Salvador DALI to Georges T. (the full name will be communicated to the buyer), painter, collaborator and student of DALI in the early 1970s - the photo in the album shows Georges T. in the company of Salvador DALI.
We personally acquired a set of DALI drawings, photographs and documents from Georges T.'s nephew and kept the largest drawing (which represents Hermès) for our personal collection
