" Tabriz Silk Rug - Haji Jalili, Signed, Dated And Numbered "
Rare Tabriz silk carpet made by the famous master weaver Haji Jalili, dated Hegira 1220 (circa 1870). With a density of 10,000 to 11,000 knots per dm², it has remarkable technical characteristics: pile, warps, weft and fringes in natural silk. Of exceptional finesse, it is distinguished by its prayer-shaped design, with an ivory field, a stylized oil lamp, and finely drawn floral motifs. This museum-quality carpet is in excellent condition for its age. Measures: 175 cm x 129 cm
