"Small Painted 18th Century Sauteeuse Commode."
Superb little chest of drawers, crossbow (18th century), in walnut. Two rows of drawers, three at the top (including one secret) and one large at the bottom. Rests on four crowbars ending in sabots. The handles are bronze. The patina (lead gray) which is later is particularly successful, it seems original.
