Kuwasseg fils / July 57” 36 x 28 cm (42 x 36 cm with frame)Charles Euphrasie Kuwwaseg studied with Durand-Brager and Eugène Isabey. He was first a long-distance sailor before becoming an official painter who exhibited from 1855 at the Paris Salon. His works are today preserved in numerous museums, notably at the Museum of Fine Arts of Rouen, Rennes and Fécamp.
