"Pair Of Louis XVI Chests Of Drawers"
Very elegant pair of Louis XVI chests of drawers, veneered in walnut and maple wood, threaded on the front, sides and top.The piece of furniture has truncated pyramid legs and has three drawers, each equipped with two original handles.
Veneto, 18th century.
UPDATE: the old owners found four bronze truncated pyramid feet that were mounted on the legs of the drawers and three of the six central drawer nozzles.
We therefore decided to restore the two chests of drawers as they were originally, or to put all the bronzes back as they were. The brown spots seen in the photo are the fillers needed to subsequently proceed with the hand-made polishing with shellac.
The final price includes restoration.
