Chinese porcelain vase, hand painted in cobalt. Decorated with the motif of the "hundred cranes" (symbol of longevity, they are said to live 1000 years, but also of wisdom, fidelity, knowledge and the experience they bring during distant journeys) and the rare motif deer (symbol of good fortune, prosperity and advancement). In addition to the animals, the motif of the "three friends of winter", namely the evergreen pine, the plum tree that blooms in February and the sturdy bamboos, was depicted.
