ABOUT THE ARTIST
Maria Da Fonseca, alias Marie SION was born in 1956 in Portugal.
Marie SION completed secondary studies at the Vila Réal high school, continued to study French in Porto where she then decided to come to France.
Originally from the Douro Valley, Marie SION is perfectly self-taught, refusing all influences. She paints Provence with sweetness and violence that accompany her in her polychrome fugues; Fusion of her genes and current visions.
At home, aridities and flavors are painted in a real bouquet of happiness.
