An interesting and decorative pair of corner consoles in natural wood lacquered red and gilded with Chinese decorations of opium smokers and birds in cages. The top is painted in imitation of marble, green with some small cracks. They stand on curved feet.

Elegant French work from the mid 19th century circa 1850-1880.
