Pair of armchairs in waxed beech wood, Louis 16 period, France, Late 18th century, Circa 1780, with tiled backrest with gendarme's hat, the top arched with a band sculpted with gadroons, flanked at the ends by small stylized pine cones . The rudent armrests resting on four tapered and fluted legs. Comfortable upholstery on straps with off-white velvet in perfect condition (no stains or wear) Minimal use restorations, note two pine cones replaced on an armchair. Good condition of the joinery, solidity of the armrests, they do not move
