Large mythological clock of very good quality from the Restoration period around 1820. Architecture in bronze covered with a very beautiful gold mercury gilding. The large character represents the prince and shepherd Paris playing the aulos, equipped with a stick and a hat. Bronze dial encrusted in a terminal whose outline is finely worked with ivy leaf, at the top rests a very beautiful lyre.Rectangular base ornamented with a large garland richly carved with fruit and attributes of war and music. The lower part is underlined by leaves of water and palmette as a foot.
Original mechanism without modification, wire suspension, striking the hours and half hours on an old bell.
