"Portico Clock From The Empire Period "return From Egypt""
Empire Clock "Return to Egypt" Beautiful little portico clock from the Empire period in the style of "Return to Egypt". The rectangular cherry red marble base resting on four gilded feet. Two Egyptian women in gilded bronze supporting the movement and forming a portico. Three flowery basins adorn the upper part. White enamel dial with Roman numerals for the hours and railway for the minutes. Round mechanism called "de Paris" with lever escapement and wire suspension. Ringing by chaperone of the hours and a half in passing on a bell. The mechanism of this clock has been completely overhauled in our workshop. This includes the complete dismantling of the movement, correction of play and wear, rectification of the pivots, cleaning, bluing of the steels, reassembly, lubrication and adjustments. This clock will be guaranteed for a period of two years.
