"Hunting. Shooting Game"
[Hunting, Shooting]. Hallali. (France, around 1930). Wooden box, size 50.5 x 40.5 x 7.5 cm. Chromolithograph pasted on the front side (hunting crew), an oval opening is cut in the panel revealing a wild animal behind. [Chambrelent and Co. printing works]. Rifle and arrow. Shooting hunting game. Behind the front panel of the box is mounted a wind-up mechanism which, when an image presented is reached by an arrow, rotates and causes another image to appear; we can thus see a deer, a hare, a boar, a fox. The set is functional, in good condition despite some alterations (warping) of the image of the front panel around the oval opening.
