"Louis XIV Chest Of Drawers In Rosewood Veneer, Early 18th Century"
Beautiful Louis XIV chest of drawers veneered in rosewood frieze, slightly curved in front.It opens with four drawers in three rows separated by dark crosspieces of brass grooves.
These same dark brass grooves are found in sets of three on the front pillars.
It is generously adorned with a rich ornamentation of gilded bronzes (keyholes, end of the lamp, drooping pull handles ''to valets'')
The interior fonçures of the drawers are in solid walnut and of a very neat realization.
This beautifully crafted piece of furniture is topped with a ''light ocher from Brignoles'' breach.
