Exceptional large Kashan Manchester rug, made of a rare Manchester silky quality wool pile, on cotton foundations. Characterized by a central medallion with midnight blue floral motifs adorned with bouquets of flowers, on a beige field dotted with medallions in the form of cabuchons intertwined with branches. Consists of three borders, the main ruby with patterns of twists of bothes and flowers in pastel tones. Density: 7000 to 8000 knots/dm2.
