Small chest of drawers in cherry wood, Louis 15 period, France, Daupiné or Rhône Valley, mid-18th century, Circa 1750, curved on the front and scalloped on both sides, opening with three drawers with original locks, and resting on shell feet. Very beautiful "Rance" veined marble top with wide corbin beak. Beautiful ornamentation of gilded bronze. The bottom and the boxes of the drawers in pine wood. Small usual restorations, including small splices on the rear bottom feet. Very nice rare piece of furniture with its sinuous lines and its proportions, its beautiful patinated blond cherry color, and its superb marble top. Furniture treated and waxed by our cabinetmaker.
