Circa 1815/1820 France Rare summer dress in openwork cotton net (India?) embroidered with vermilion red cotton thread dating no later than the First Restoration. Wide balloon sleeves tightened by original cotton ties, just like the neckline which ties in the back. very high waist and conical skirt whose entire volume is at the back. Three rows of matching scalloped cotton ruffles. Rather loose embroideries of garlands of vermilion flowers adorn the bottom of the skirt. Closing with original hooks in the back. Good state of conservation. Dimensions: Equivalent to French size 34. Waist 59 cm, chest 75 cm, sleeves 16 cm, skirt height in front of 110 cm.
