"Pair Of Biedermeier Shovel Chairs, Cherry Veneer, South Germany Circa 1820"
Beautiful pair of original and restored Biedermeier shovel chairs from southern Germany around 1820.
Cherry and solid veneer. Intermediate ebonized bar as decoration of the backrest. Restored and polished with shellac by hand. Newly upholstered and covered in black bouclé fabric.
Dimensions: H 92.5 cm x W 49 cm x D 45 cm x Seat-H 56 cm
