Porcelain Lantern Night Light, 1890, Limoges, Cf Haviland And Associates

Bearing the CFH-GDM signature, (Charles Field Haviland-Gerard, Dufreysseix and Morel, between 1881 and 1890) this bedroom night light, in shape of hand lantern, with its handle, the opening on basement which allowed to slip in glass oil lamp or candlestick, its pretty openwork finial, its decoration of flowers and birds, and its pretty gold highlights.
Charming object, flawless condition, I do not have the original lamp cup, to be replaced by modern flat candles, without smoke....
