Very imposing clock from the Restoration period around 1820. It bears the name of the watchmaker on the dial and, more rarely, that of the bronzier. Architecture in yellow Siena marble adorned on four sides with patinated bronze decorated with a thick and wide outline of palmettes and at the top of buttons. Very large curved enamel dial underlined by an outline of water leaves and a curved glass."Pierre-Victor Ledure, born in 1783, merchant-manufacturer of bronzes and clocks. His workshop is listed between 1813 and 1840 on rue Neuve-des-Petits-Champs then rue Vivienne and finally rue d'Angoulême.
