Pair of Paris porcelain vases from the Empire period. The faces are painted with two portraits (Madame still seems to be in the fashion of marvelous women) and the backs are very finely gilded on a blue background decorated with lyres, griffins and palmettes. The handles rest on small gilded lion heads. Condition report: Very good condition, not the slightest chip, slight wear to the gilding
